Gladiolus is the most celebrated flower so to say! As a child I vividly remember all occasions being marked by a series of bouquets 💐 in all possible hues of gladiolus!! So much so that sometimes I wonder if Gladiolus was the national flower of India instead of Lotus!! And courtsey all my childhood memories- Gladiolus is very celebratory!!
Here is to the onset of the Northern Monsoon, the change in weather from hot to pleasant & those rainy day watching from the windows & spotting a GLADIOLUS in my verandah- my take on it.
